Summertime is a great time to be out enjoying all nature has to offer. Here I am leaving Block Island with my wife Debbie aboard Solstice, our Ericson 32 sailboat which we have had for 14 years. What better time to try out the possibilities of an online experience than during the summer when the last thing we want to do is continue the commuting grind we experience the rest of the year. Week-ends you'll find us enjoying Block Island, Stonington or Watch Hill from the water. We keep Solstice on a mooring in front of Abbott's Lobster in Noank, CT. Everyone is welcome to join us anytime!

Dear Class,

Welcome to our new blog which will be our meeting ground for sharing, viewing and discussing your work created for the Summer '06 Introduction to Digital Photography course. Here we will post work created for each assignment. As part of the process, I'd like other students in the course to comment, share ideas and ask questions.

Summertime is a great time to be doing a class like this as you are free to take the class from wherever your travels and free time takes you. Using free Picassa software from Google, you can organize, edit, publish, email and print all of your digital images. Step by step tutorials that I will post will get you up to speed in no time
